libvte-2.90-common software package provides Terminal emulator widget for GTK+ 3.0 - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvte-2.90-common
libvte-2.90-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvte-2.90-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvte-2.90-common *
